Nathan's Family Soul Food

Style: Southern/Soul Food
Cost: <$10 (Cash Only)
What I ate: BBQ Sandwich, Mashed Potatoes, and Cornbread
Rating: 8/10

If you’re looking for real good soul food, you must take a trip down Michigan Ave. to a place called Nathan’s. They have some of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had and the BBQ sandwich is as delicious as it is messy. The place is very small, with only about three tables. It’s mostly meant for carry-out, so expect a good wait if you decide to dine-in. The restaurant is not at all fancy and the dining area not that clean, but if you’re just looking for some really good, authentic soul food, Nathan’s is the place to go.
